The Hub will bring sport, recreation, and community services together under one roof – all designed to meet the needs of northern Tasmania’s growing community. Whether you’re chasing fitness goals, cheering from the sidelines, or looking for a welcoming space to gather, the Hub has you covered.

Indoor Courts
Four netball courts operated by the Northern Tasmania Netball Association, plus three multi-use courts for basketball, volleyball, futsal, pickleball, wheelchair sports, and more.

Active Spaces
Dedicated areas for rock climbing, gymnastics, boxing, weightlifting, and a fully equipped gym.

Community
Friendly Design
Spaces for youth engagement, education, counselling, training, and multipurpose office use.

Café & Social Spaces
A café with a commercial kitchen, spectator seating, and open community gathering areas for up to 800 people.

Outdoor & Green Spaces
Open areas for fitness, recreation and events, along with safe pedestrian links to local schools and Invermay Road.

Modern Amenities
Change rooms, ample parking, and electric charging stations for cars, bikes and scooters.
Accessibility at the Heart
The Hub has been designed to ensure everyone feels welcome and supported. From wheelchair-accessible entrances and ramps, to Changing Places compliant facilities, accessible bathrooms, and inclusive seating, the design has been shaped with guidance from the Premier’s Disability Advisory Committee.
